Truck Wash Facility Construction for Walcha City Council

Faced the challenge of remediating a deteriorated main access road during school holidays, balancing safety, sustainability and minimal disruption to school operations.

The Challenge

Walcha City Council required a new truck wash facility to support local infrastructure and heavy vehicle maintenance. The project included critical components such as effluent treatment, sewer and water mains, electrical infrastructure, and a secure pump shed. Strict quality standards and a 12-week completion deadline added to the challenge.

Our Solution

Solve Civil successfully delivered the project by:

  • Constructing the truck wash facility, excluding solids traps and treatment tank slabs.
  • Installing the For Earth effluent treatment system for sustainable wastewater management.
  • Building aeration blower and dosing slabs with security fencing.
  • Constructing a pump shed with integrated services.
  • Installing a 150mm sewer main with manholes and a 150mm water main.
  • Completing earthworks and pavement construction.
  • Installing the AVDATA truck wash system for automated vehicle wash operations.

The Result
