St Alban’s Anglican Church required a full car park upgrade to replace deteriorating infrastructure, improve drainage, and meet accessibility standards. The church’s schedule and limited space on-site posed challenges, as the project needed to be completed with minimal disruption to services and churchgoers.
Solve Civil efficiently staged the works to ensure access throughout the project. The existing car park was extended with earthworks and the installation of a new retaining wall using wood grain-style concrete sleepers and a new ag drain system for long-term stability. Base and subgrade improvements were made by reshaping, compacting, and reinforcing the ground to provide a solid foundation. Finally, new kerb and guttering, asphalt resurfacing, fresh line marking, and accessibility bollards were installed to ensure the car park met all standards.
The completed car park offers a durable, safe, and accessible space for the church community. The project was delivered on time and with minimal disruption, allowing the church to continue its activities. The upgraded car park now features effective stormwater management and a stable foundation, while the new layout optimizes parking capacity and pedestrian access, providing lasting value to the church.
