The Challenge

A new pedestrian pathway and bus stop slab were required along the southern side of Maple Crescent to improve accessibility and connectivity between Boronia Street and Church Street. The project needed to integrate with existing infrastructure while ensuring minimal disruption to traffic, pedestrians, and underground services.

The Solution

Solve Civil undertook the full construction process, including:

  • Excavation and preparation of the pathway and bus stop slab to required levels.
  • Formwork installation, reinforcement placement, and concrete pouring to meet council specifications.
  • Site security and traffic/pedestrian management to maintain public safety.
  • Integration of existing utilities such as water, gas, electrical, and telecommunications.
  • Backfilling, formwork removal, and disposal of excess materials.

The Result

The newly constructed pathway and bus stop slab provide a safer and more accessible route for pedestrians and commuters. By adhering to local council specifications and ensuring efficient project execution, Solve Civil successfully delivered an infrastructure upgrade that enhances community accessibility and public transport facilities.
