The site required the construction of durable retaining walls to stabilize the embankment, prevent soil erosion, and enhance the usability of the space. Solve Civil implemented a robust retaining wall system using concrete sleepers for longevity and strength. The scope of work included:
✔️ Excavation and shaping of the base ground level.
✔️ Installation of lower and upper tier concrete sleeper walls, using 600mm diameter piers for 2m high walls and 450mm diameter piers for walls up to 1.6m.
✔️ Placement of galvanised steel posts and Outback Sleepers Mclaren Charcoal heavy-duty sleepers.
✔️ Installation of drainage lines, geofabric, black plastic, and free-draining stone to ensure long-term water management.
✔️ General earthworks and backfilling to reinforce the structure and improve ground stability.
