Portland Sunny Corner Bus Shelter and Related Civil Works
Lithgow City Council engaged Solve Civil to undertake the Portland Sunny Corner Bus Shelter and Related Civil Works project. The scope of work comprised earthworks, basecourse construction, two-coat sealing, construction of concrete spoon drains, bus shelter installation, stormwater drainage, installation of road markings and signs, and associated civil works.
Solve Civil successfully completed the project within the agreed timeframe and to a high standard of quality. The contractor demonstrated strong technical capability, effective communication, and excellent collaboration with Council’s project team throughout the project delivery.
The company maintained a safe and environmentally responsible work environment, adhering to all relevant standards, legislation, and Council requirements.
Lithgow City Council is highly satisfied with the performance of Solve Civil in delivering this project and has no hesitation in recommending the company for similar civil construction works in the future.
Portland Sunny Corner Bus Shelter and Related Civil Works
Solve Civil has undertaked and completed the works for Lithgow City Council regarding to the Portland Sunny Corner Road Bus Stop. During these works at the sites all activities have been found to completed to the required standards and in a safe manner.
Solve Civil have been found to be diligent in their application of safety for their operations, staff, plant and traffic control. At each site audit the required site documentation was presented without delay, and all site inspections complied to the required standards.
As of the date of this reference Solve Civil would be recommended for any civil construction project.
Safety Barrier Replacement
Solve Civil were determined to be the best applicant from our internal Tender Evaluation Process, scoring highly in areas of demonstrated competency, compliance and price. The safety documentation provided by Solve Civil easily met Soil Conservation Service requirements and I regard the attention to detail in this area as being outstanding.

Kirkconnell Correctional Centre
I am writing to Suggest Stephen and his organization Solve Civil for completing the civil road works at Kirkconnell Correctional Centre. I have had the delight of working straightforwardly with Stephen. Despite on facing many challenges on site, Stephen was able to deliver the project according to plan. He was responsive and proactive when dealing with any site issue raised by the client. I am recommendation him for any future work with BGIS or Department of Justice (DCJ).

Solve Civil successfully completed a complex and extremely time sensitive Shooting Range Upgrade project in Sydney’s West. The site was located on a Correctional Facility, requiring ongoing stakeholder management and continuous attention to site rules and regulations. Solve Civil performed extremely well on all the above and ensured the Client was left feeling comfortable their project was in safe hands, completing works on schedule despite some periods of poor weather.
Solve Civil’s overall WHS performance was immaculate, with no incidents or near misses identified during the project. Their documentation was great and submitted for review in line with project requirements.
Despite the significant challenges faced on such, Solve Civil completed works admirably. I would certainly recommend Solve Civil as Principal Contractor for any similar or larger works in this sphere based on the positive outcomes delivered with this project.
