The existing wheel wash system at Wang Ash Dam required a full upgrade to improve efficiency, durability, and compliance with environmental and operational standards. The project involved removing the outdated system, remediating the site, and installing a new, high-performance wheel wash that could handle heavy-duty vehicle traffic while ensuring effective cleaning and sediment control.
Solve Civil carefully removed the existing wheel wash system, including the concrete end blocks, drainage infrastructure, and electrical components. The site was then remediated with selective road base material, leveled, and reseeded where necessary. A fully reinforced concrete pit was constructed to house a custom-designed in-ground wheel and underbody wash system. The installation included a high-pressure pump system, wide-angle spray nozzles, and an automated control system to ensure efficient and reliable operation. To complete the project, Solve Civil commissioned the system, provided thorough staff training, and supplied comprehensive documentation to ensure smooth ongoing use and maintenance.
The upgraded wheel wash system significantly improved site efficiency, ensuring vehicles leaving the site met strict environmental and cleanliness standards. The project was completed to a high standard, providing a long-lasting and low-maintenance solution tailored to the site’s needs.
