Mt Tomah Water Tank Refurbishment
The Blue Mountains Botanic Garden, originally known as the Mount Tomah Botanical Garden, is a 28-hectare cool climate public botanic garden located approximately 100 kilometres west of the Sydney central business district at Mount Tomah in the Blue Mountains. The gardens have no mains water supply and are dependent on a network of water storage tanks and dams for irrigation, washing and potable water supply.
The underground tank that serves the main visitors area, conference rooms and restaurant had structural issues with the roof of the tank becoming defective and in danger of collapsing.
