Forbes Mains Water Pumping Station – Above Ground Pump Station Design & Construct
Located just outside of the Forbes Township, the Alcheringa Mains Water Pump Station was constructed approximately 10 years previous and was constructed as an underground facility. The Pump Station served a number of large acre residential lots along with rural farms and landholdings.
Due to existing landforms, the Pump Station had been inundated a number of times, and was at risk should flooding occur in the future. Funding was allocated by the Forbes Shire Council to investigate options on rectification and reduction of this risk.
Solve Civil worked with Council engineers and staff to design and construct a new low maintenance, low visual impact and vandal resistant structure along with the associated relocation/replacement of pipework, pumps and SCADA control systems.

- On site installation of panels, joint sealing, waterproofing & painting
