Mid-Western Regional Council Environmental Washbay
The Mid-Western Council is responsible for an area of more than 9000 km2 and has Works Depots in strategic areas around the Council area.
Council operates teams for Roads, Water, Sewer, Stormwater & Parks out of this Depot with all the associated Plant & Equipment required stored and maintained there.
Despite the facility being built as a Council Depot, there was no suitable area that Plant and Equipment could be washed and degreased. This caused potential issues with hydrocarbon and wash water contamination, employees being exposed to the weather and with no bunded areas for cleaning, degreasing & detailing chemicals
Solve Civil was contracted to provide a complete turnkey Plant Wash down area that complies with the current environmental standards and codes.
